4.5 stars. I loved the story, the characters, everything (as was to be expected bc I loved the first two books too), but that unneccecary piece of friction/conflict near the end felt so repetetive and stupid I literally had to fight my way through those last 50 pages. But Eve and Jacob still own my heart. of course. But I'll keep on disliking the miscommunication trope till the day I die. It's complicated.
