I have given 5 stars to plenty of books in the past, but now I feel like I was wrong. I have never read a book that has captured me the way this book has. I’m in love with it the way I’m in love with breathing, sleeping, living… it just seems RIGHT the way I love this book.
I hate love stories and romance novels but this wasn’t either of those things. This was LIVING and HURTING and I loved it.
I can’t wait to read more Olivie Blake. Her writing style is so capturing I couldn’t put the book down. I even hated the characters as people but loved them as characters because she’s a genius and I need every sentence she’s ever written to be tattooed on my soul.

What a fun read!
I thought the premise was very interesting and it reminded me a lot of True Crime Story by Joseph Knox where the story juggles the the thin line of fiction and non-fiction.
I really enjoyed the story telling mixed with little snippets of his life. The author’s note at the end might have been my favorite part because it’s just so interesting!!
And the twist… the reveal of the killer I was BLINDSIFED!
