I loved this story so much.  I would not call it dark romance, as much as a romance with "dark" themes but it was still delightful. I greatly enjoyed the banter and dynamic.

While I did appreciate the story this book was trying to tell I really struggled with some of the "gore" that is totally personal but it distracted from the story enough for me that I almost put it down (I'm a wuss) I did enjoy the small townness of it all and going back to a small town after a long time away in the middle of a "crisis" i can relate to that.
