An absolute rollercoaster of emotions, this book was amazing, I almost could not put it down, I read it in only a week and I'm usually a slow reader so it says a lot, that while having classes.
I can clearly see why it is the favorite book of so many people in the trilogy, the third book would need a lot for me to like it more than this one.
I was really hooked and the multiple plot twist got me to audibly gasp.
Cardan became such an interesting character in this book, he already was interesting but now I see so much more complexity and depth to the character.
I am still troubled by a lot of things that took place in the book, it made me feel a lot of emotions throughout it.
I really can't wait to read The Queen of Nothing now.

Balekin is an incredible character in my opinion, he is an awful person and I hate him but he is so interesting and well written, I was actually shocked that Jude really killed him and the ending of the book was a true shocker, I can't wait to see what's gonna happen, I'm a bit worried that the third book might be boring since Jude is not in terrafae anymore but I have faith, I really want to see how Cardan is going to be as well.

I feel like I was really let down by the book, I had some expectations but felt like nothing really happened.
It was still enjoyable.

I had to read it for school and it was horrible, I hated every page of it and had trouble finishing it.

I love this book with my whole soul, it is my favorite book
The quotes are amazing from the beginning to the very end
The author is controversial and did he wrote the entire book by himself ? Certainly not. I give his wife way more credit than him but that's another story.
A true classic, not for everyone, hard to understand the first time you read it but it's my third read and I watched the movie as many times, I appreciate it way more now.
I love how Daisy's and Gatsby's relationship is pictured, how every character's relationship are pictured, how their feelings are displayed, their overwhelming love, there is a deep poetry in this book that no man in the 20's could've written.
