I loved this book from start to finish. Dusk, despite his terse personality, is a loveable character who you want to see succeed and overcome his challenges. Starling and her crew bring a nice diversity of characters and perspectives, and the villains of the story feel like believable people that create a genuine concern for if the heroes of the story can defeat them.

The themes of the book-

uncertainty of the future, the feelings of not belonging, of trying to find your place in the world

- were present throughout the story but were never overbearing.

This is the first sci-fi/fantasy book I've read in a long time and true to form, Sanderson has made me eager to dive back in not only to the genre but into the Cosmere itself.
