I read this so long ago that I really didn't remember anything except a few names, and the basic premise. I read this on audio, and I enjoyed the narrator quite a lot. Audio books are somewhat new to me and they're always a bit of an adjustment. I like that fact that there is such a range in character ages. We have Elenor who is an old lady, Mo a father, and Meggie a 12 year old. I don't often read or see older characters in fiction that have such large parts, so that was refreshing. I enjoyed this book, and from whatI remember the second book was my favorite in the series. I plan to continue on with the next books, but it's not a big priority right now.
I recently rediscovered my old copy of this from when I was probably 8 or 9. I loved this book as a child, and I obviously read it a lot, judging by the cracked spine. So I decided to reread it and see what I think of it now. Well, I still love it a whole lot and I'm so glad I found this book!
