It's difficult to write a good review of this book. On the one hand, it is a wealth of information on interpreting tarot through archetypes and psychology. The exploration of Jungian ideas related to the tarot is thorough. The exploration of the major arcana as the journey through the development of the human psyche is excellent. I enjoyed those aspects of this book and it certainly inspired me to view the tarot through another lens.

The downside to this book is that it's terribly dry. It reads like someone's thesis rather than a book. There's very little humor in it and it's very difficult to read. I had to read it in small chunks because I found myself starting to zone out and missing some of the good parts of it.

I really enjoyed this book. In theory, you could use this book to learn to read your own and other people's akashic records, perform energy healing and heal past life issues. For me personally, I find that I need more hands-on instruction but was an overview of what the akashic records are, how they work, the process for accessing them, and how they can be used this book provided an excellent overview. I would definitely recommend it.
