It was short and sweet. The multiple POVs were a little off-putting for me, but the book does set you up quite well for the 3rd person in Silver Flames. It also does well to set up how the characters are feeling and what the war has meant for them, what they had been fighting for. The love story between Rhys and Feyre in this book is very touching and full of hope, which I loved.. A nice break from all the war.

This book is the best in the series for me, by far!!!
I loved every single minute of reading this book. It was fast paced from the first chapter. There was banter, love, family, friendship, plot twists, suspense, character growth, emotion, war... It made me feel so many things.
I will rave about this book till my end of days

I very much enjoyed this book! The ending has me a full-blown fan. The beginning was heart-wrenching, but a bit harder to get into than what I expected, but it picked up quickly.
The infamous Chapter 54 was also just utter perfection.

Did I know before I started reading that this book would emotional wreck me at the end? Yes. Did I still cry my eyes out? Yes.
I loved this book, and the multi-POVs throughout. And especially loved the ending, which I did not see coming.

I loved this book! I laughed, I nearly cried, I kicked my feet multiple times, and I didn't want it to end! I absolutely love the banter between Saeris and Fisher. Ending was a great lead to the next book, but not too much of a cliffhanger that you're left feeling upset. Can't wait for the next one.

Don't get me wrong, this book was brilliantly written, and I take my hat off to Samantha Shannon.
But.. I just struggled with it. I found it hard to get into in the beginning. But I started enjoying the characters
(with the exception of Niclays)
. I felt let down by the last 150 pages or so. There was such a great build up to the final battle, and got to know the characters so well, and then it fell a bit flat... it felt rushed.

The Nameless One, who we had been gearing up to fight, was gone in the blink of an eye. I feel Niclays had quite a solid rounding off at the end, but the rest? Meg? Loth? More of Tané's island journey? I also would've liked to have seen more of Tané and Ead's relationship/training together etc. I was left with so many questions about the other characters, and I just wanted MORE - more battle, more "Nameless One", more ending.

A slow beginning to this book, particularly in the human lands and the first while in Spring Court
It picks up and had me absolutely hooked by the end!

Excuse me. This book is next level.
The world expansion, the character growth, all the little Easter Eggs that Yarros is giving us (the theories are going hard), the emotional rollercoasters, the sass, the spice, the YEARNING! My, my. I admit, it took me a week to recover from this book, but I would give anything to be able to read this series for the first time again.

This book brought me back from a 7 year reading slump...
Brilliant *chef's kiss*
Thank you, Rebecca Yarros.
