Beautiful and haunting and hopeful. The writing is spare, yet beautiful at the same time. It lulled me into feelings of loss and sadness, small beauties and big moments. It was a solid four stars until I found myself crying over its quiet and contemplative poignancy. It's not so much a story about falling in love as it is about growing up and growing apart and growing together over and over again.
