I am so glad that I read this series. A mafia romance, and yet, not a typical mafia romance. The world is there, still I didn't have to read all the toxicity that goes with it.
Also, the writing - that was totally my kind of angst, reunion scenes, intimacy, friendships. It's been so long that I even wanted to read the sexual scenes in books. I've started to kind of fast read them, wanting for them to just get over and continue with the story already. But this one - I was actually interested in those scenes, the romance talks as well as the storyline equally. And that, really, is a big deal. 

This last book went a bit too far with the separation and not trusting and revenge again for my likes. And that's why book 2 is my favourite of the whole series. 
But all in all, I'm so glad my friend recommended me this series!

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?

No really that's all I have to say about this book. All those revelations - I'll have to make a list!!

Dianna and Samkiel are as intense as ever. I can confidently say these 2 are the most intense couple in all my years of fantasy and romance reads.
No comments on the story. I need the next book ASAP!! I need to see some people live happily and some people die !!

Okay I liked this book but what was it?! The story was getting interesting, I was immersed in it and then it got over! It was over a hundred pages so I thought there would be more but then another short story strated in the same book. And throughout that  I kept on thinking maybe it will connect with the first story. Till the end, I read it in this hope. And for nought!
That's my primary disappointment. And that's the reason I don't read short stories
