This book left me speechless. Although many of the plot twists were kind of guessable, I like both the story and the world very much. I particularly liked the fact that the first 300 pages are not world building, but you are thrust straight into the story, which means that, like Poppy, you have to figure everything out yourself first and are a bit in the dark.
Especially after the last sentence, I have to start the second book of the series right away!

I really enjoyed the book and read it through in one go because I just had to know who the culprit was. However, this is one of those books that you read, enjoy and then immediately forget. The romance felt forced in places and wasn't really necessary to the story, but it didn't stop me from getting engrossed in the pages. 3.5/5 stars.
