Democracy in Retrograde: How to Make Changes Big and Small in Our Country and in Our Lives by Emily Amick, Sami Sage
4.0
Good reference and ideas for getting yourself and others involved in politics.
All about Me: My Remarkable Life in Show Business by Mel Brooks
5.0
Charming read about Mel Brooks' life told from the man himself. He is so kind to others in his memory, just wish he shared more about his older kids too.
The Kingdom of Ordinary Time: Poems by Marie Howe
4.5
Some very hard hard subjects described in poetry. Like the faith and religion commentary too.
Home Is Where the Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose
4.5
Twisty and turn-y. I would like to hear more about why N veered off the way she did.
Yellowface by R.F. Kuang
4.0
Not the ending I wanted, which is fine. But a biting and open view of the book and publishing world. Kuang has experienced a lot of life already and has a lot of wisdom to share.
A World of Curiosities by Louise Penny
4.75
More of a thriller than her usual but very very good. The ending gets mushy and I had to listen over and over to clarify who did what to who and how in the end but it's great.
The Carrying: Poems by Ada Limón

So glad I was introduced to Limón's works. Will be reading more soon.
What to Do When I'm Gone: A Mother's Wisdom to Her Daughter by Suzy Hopkins

I love the concept and want to read their other book too.

Small Mercies by Bridget Krone

Took a bit to jump in but once I did I was sold. Also love the South African setting and narrator!
