We are sad to say this book was not for us, from beginning to the concept of “choose your own adventure”, it was difficult to keep up with and understand. This book sadly is a No all around, we are all for a women having fun and making decision for her, but there were just moments in the story we could not get behind, it start right in the first chapter, the FMC sets an alarm to wake up before the guy she's hooking up with just to apply make-up and make herself "pretty" that is just sad and demeaning. Oh and after all that they go and start having sex, like why did she even bother do her make-up if it was going to get ruined. I stopped reading after the 2nd "choose your own adventure" because I just did not understand what was going on with the story.

Thank you Gab Tuls and Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion!

 Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5
 Spicy: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ out of 5

We do not know what to say about this book, because the spice level, just wow. Steamy sport romance for the win! In the story we met a strong and independent woman who is doing everything to help her younger sister have a better future. Victoria the FMC finds herself in a financial bind and her day job as her Colleges Baseball teams equipment girl is not enough. She decided the only way to gain this money was to create a Only Fans Account, but not alone, she decided to bring in more money she needed to bring in a partner. She finds that business partner in Mike the baseball’s team catcher who also finds himself in a financial bind. What these two work-partners do not expect is the attraction they have for each other. Especially Mike, who is in love with his best friend and fellow teammate, star pitcher Johnathan. Twist in all this, Jonathan is also in love with Victoria, and when he learns of their partnership decides to join them.

What none of them expect is to fall in love and become one united loving couple . Each character is going through their own journey in adulthood. They grow as individuals and support each other, but also never expect their partnership turned relationship to become an issue. When this happens, Victoria distances herself and she turns into Tyler, her step-brother who has also freed Victoria from her financial bind, with the hopes of showing Victoria that he also does love her and wants to be in her life. In the end all these characters find each other, they create a love story that is unique and so sweet.

If you love Roy Kent you will love the MMC in this book! Grump, silent, surly British Footballers are definitely our cup of tea! The story is a contemporary RomCom of two unlikely people who fall in love. Alfie is a famous surly Ex-Footballer and has a bad reputation but deep down is the sweetest man ever. Mable is a spunky, plus size, gorgeous woman who works as ghost writer and was hired to write Alfie's autobiography.
We loved the story, it is your classic grumpy/sunshine, but it adds other tropes and representation that make the story great.  In the mix that makes the story fun, you have fake dating, opposites attract, and forced proximity, plus size rep and some trauma rep. Alfie meets bubbly Mabel and their wildly fun and entering story begins. The banter is amazing, we love some good fun British banter, it is just different, charming and honest in our opinion.
If you are looking for a fun read, pick up this book!
