I liked this book but a few things put me off.
Racism; the author writes that a woman with dreadlocks looks like a welfare mom.
Use of an outdated term Eskimo
Ableism; autistic stereotype, said a drab suit and tie outfit was an ‘autistic stab’ at some tv show.
Also said that the character didn’t want mute people taking over the world because they had no character to them. As a non verbal person, this is disgusting, I’m often treated as an object.
