Let it be known that I am not a Jane Austen purist. I feel that is very important to state up front, as it seems many who read books like these are expecting them to come from Ms. Austen herself. I think the author does a good job in continuing the legacy of these characters, in my humble opinion.

This was a very enjoyable read, and I suspect I will revisit it often.

I don't feel it's fair to rate a book I haven't truly read entirely...I just can't bring myself to complete the book. It's tedious, the apology at the beginning turned me off, and the rehashing of Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" really was not necessary.

Maybe sometime I'll actually give it another go, but for now, I'm moving on to a new read.
