Why has it taken me so long to read Minnie Bruce Pratt's work?!?! I truly loved this novel. It is beautiful, vulnerable, and alluring.

I enjoyed Lady of Lazarus the most. There's a lot of racism and Anti Semitism in this collection that made it difficult to read and enjoy. I don't really care that "she was a product of her time." That dismisses how painful and evil racism can be, especially for those who experience it.

Beautiful illustrations, and I really love to hear all the ways queer & trans folks have survived and are surviving. 💜 The font was difficult to read, though.

I just feel like the topic race could've been approached better. I didn't connect with this book that much. The ending was interesting, I guess.
