Table for Two by Amor Towles

4.0

5 stars for the short stories and 3 stars for the novella. Filled with Amor Towles' signature wit and clever writing, I love how he crafts his characters in a way that feels so authentically human. With regard to the novella, "Eve" in Hollywood would've been more accurately entitled "Men" in Hollywood. It doesn't take six male perspectives to tell Eve's story- I think she can tell her own!

This book is the epitome of a fun, flirty summer read. It’s really all about the two MCs making a bonkers agreement and giving into their mutual attraction all while crazy rich people make bad decisions. I can’t say it’s realistic at all, but it’s still a great book to pick up for a wild escapist, tropical ride.

A quick, entertaining and enjoyable to read, but I wanted more from the villains and from the ending.
