Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
It was making me sleepy and there was nothing new
What we do as a Bookstagrammer or a reader or as a bookshop owner it was just approval of that.
It was good
To like we can say
It was too much feel good to handle.
.
It made me sleepy ..
.
Definitely not for me 😞

This is an Amazing book
It's like an handbook almost like a dictionary of Greek Gods, Heroes and other important characters.
.
It had details of all Gods and their misdeeds
Author calls things what it is
If it is Assault by God then it is .
If it is unnecessary creating problems for humans then it is
.
Authors has done good research and also mentions popular books and movies which took refrence from original myths
.
This is ideal read for those who are new to Greek gods and
Also for those who think they know it all by just reading Mythological "Fiction".
.
A must read for a fan of Greek Mythology
It's like talking to expert and with all the inside jokes .
.
Amazing book buys
Why didn't I read it before idk 😶
.
All the trigger warnings I gave come in any Greek narrative 😕

Book 4 of 2024
All that are considered as books on Goodreads are considered the same by me hence I have big target know 🤣
.
.
This short story by Mieko Kawakami was something really.
It reminds us of all those people we lost
All those whom we couldn't say goodbye
And
All those whom we refuse to meet even after saying will meet again.
.
Without using the words it showed us love, longing and attachment.
This young boy and young girl named Tutti seem so mature and at the same times had the required amount of childish nature in them
.
Losing one parent is definitely hard for kids
Can't compare it with anything else
And
We can even fathom the depth of their pain.
Many don't come out of it well if the Other parent is not careful.
And many show the signs of pain even after coming out of it.
.
I was also touched by the unnamed relation he shared with Ms. Ice Sandwich without even speaking.
And
Also by his relationship with his Grandma.
How she woke up just to ask him not to cry.
Such is the pain parents feel when the kids are sad.
Again we won't understand until we step in their shoes.
.
And whether to step in those shoes or not is also something Kawakami talks about in her other book
I am gonna read that soon 😁

I enjoyed this book really well.
From the beginning when the death takes place and then alternative chapters from two characters telling one story from past and one from future.
Only that past story seemed a bit more than required when I was reading but maybe it would have been a clue to the final reveal.
Though I understood the final reveal when the first suspense was revealed maybe author wanted it to be revealed who knows.
But still liked this book
It kept me on toes.
It's a good book.
Many creative ideas in story.
Would definitely love to read more from the author.
