The characters are insufferable. Also, the author insists on naming the rooms in the office the characters are working at after famous queer people and then telling us who the readers are named after, which wouldn't be so bad if it was either spread throughout the book or just done all at once. However, the author did it in a way that it's every few pages, or on different paragraphs on the same page.
