I did not enjoy this book and I think it would have benefitted from a better editor. There were so many characters but none of them felt developed to me. There was constant drama and tragedy but the stakes never felt high and I never took a lot of it seriously. There were many parts that didn’t feel necessary to me. There was always something happening yet it felt like there was no plot
This book suffered from being too ambitious and not being concise enough in plot and character development.
