Such a fantastic middle grade coming of age story, about a girl who is trying to find herself through a science project about asexual plant and animal species. Through her research she begins to question whether she is also asexual. During this time she struggles with judgements from friends and family and this makes it difficult for her to feel comfortable in her own skin.

I truly thought this book approached this topic in a tasteful and educational manner. It did not describe any sexual content that would come across as inappropriate for this age group, and best of all, it made it relatable. And I feel it will truly resonate with some young adults out there.

This was so good! Must read small town cowboy romance, single dad, opposites attract, city girl meets country boy, found family, romance!

All the tropes I love, and want in a cowboy romance.

The spice wasn’t too spicy, probably 2 peppers - 🌶️🌶️

The vibes this book gave me were so amazing, Vegas cowgirl, true love, sensuality, ugh, so good! I could have read way more of Serena and Bennetts story!

I even might go as far to say that I enjoyed the second more than I enjoyed the first! Cannot wait for the next Underwood Farms couple!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Dolly Parton is my current obsession, so we all know this was the natural next step to take - listen to her book!

The audiobook was enjoyable. I just wish the music dolly had written for this book was incorporated. I think that would have pushed me to give a 5 star.

This book explores the life of a young aspiring country singer who is escaping a past that she has hidden from everyone. But once she hits the spotlight for the first time, her past comes back to haunt her.

Throughout this read, I was consistently interested in the characters, their lives, and what was the come next. The ending was fast paced and had me not wanting to put the audiobook down.

I recommend this for dolly fans, country fans, and small town cozy drama fans? Lol

I truly enjoyed woke up like this. The characters were lovable and the plot was moving while also being fun.

The main reason I didn’t give a 5 star was because the plot reminded me too much of other storylines such as 13 going on 30 and 17 again.

This novel was so amazing. The detail….the emotion…the constant struggles of the main characters. It was all very well developed, and the writing was next level. Throughout the novel, the characters battle inner demons and discuss political and societal issues from the perspective of closed minded men, who eventually grow to understand that at the end of the day, our differences don’t truly matter. What matters if that we love one another and never take each other for granted.
Warning to those who don’t enjoy violence and graphic detail - there’s lots of it in this one.
