The first science fiction book. Frankenstein is a dark and tense exploration of man and their creations, building into a horrifying crescendo of tragedy by the end.

This is the combination of two of the best things one can get in life: mythology and evocritical poetry. The only reason this is not a full 5 stars is because I wish Hughes had translated more poems.

Though I can see an interesting story within it, Atonement is a slog to read, with an ending which ruins most of the book
