A fun, frothy romance. It's not going to have you pondering the meaning of life, butif you're looking for something sweet and silly and romantic, this is a good choice.
I knew this was going to be a good book- based on the fabulous friend who recommended it to me. What I didn't expect was to be so incredibly entertained, delighted, gutted and wrenched. Wonderful story, amazing characters.
Not gonna lie-I mostly loved the setting, the time period and the characters. The plot wasn't overly enthralling. but I did enjoy it all the same. Worth a read if you're into 1920's English ghost/love stories.
Usually I enjoy the frothiness of a Kinsella novel, but I loathed most of the characters and the plot was completely bonkers. Sophie, please take some time with your next one. I'd love another one as fun and delightful as Twenties Girl.
Great book, well-written female protagonist, sinister and creepy storyline, believable dialogue. Recommended.
I wanted more from this book. I couldn't empathize with any of the characters except Margaret. The concept was fantastic but the execution lacked the dark humor I was promised.
