It was a long, slow slog. Maybe if I had read it rather than listened to it, I would have liked it more, but I don't think so. I enjoyed the author's other two mysteries. This one was a misfire in my opinion. The mystery wasn't wasn't compelling enough and the resolution was...anticlimactic. Also, the narrator for the audio read it as if she was on the verge of hysteria the entire twelve hours. I'm sure that was meant to reflect the main character's perspective, but it surely made for an exhausting listen. Anyway, that's my two cents.
