The book started off really slow but I really started to enjoy it. I kind of spaced out during the video game stuff, but I otherwise it was really interesting. I really liked all the characters, and while there were some negative stereotypes, there were some that the author tried to fight. I’ve seen people say that this is a male centric view of the 80s and while I don’t know much about the 80s, I can see why people may not like that but also why it may make sense for the story. Overall I thought this was a really interesting book and dystopia.
This was a pretty good book, really interesting, I really liked the romance but also how the book wasn't just focused on the romance. I'm glad we saw different people in Tori's life deal with the grief, and I liked seeing Tori's POV. Some things felt a bit odd, like how no one knew for so long how she died. The hunt was a bit hard to follow at times, but I may have also just not been paying enough attention. I wished we could have seen Tori's life more spread out rather than just the beginning of her trip. I would definitely read a book just about Tori Rose.

I actually wrote a really long review but it got deleted so i am rewriting a shortened version.
I really enjoyed this book, and loved the relationship between Alex and poppy. I felt like some of the problems from the beginning were ignored by the end. I really liked seeing the vacation scenes but felt there were a bit too many. I think the Croatia scene should have come earlier, by the time it was introduced it was painfully obvious what had happened and I didn't care anymore. I would have liked to see Alex's pov since he is known as being guarded and even Poppy didn't really know his emotions. I liked how there wasn't really any/graphic smut.
Poppy mentions being bullied/teased in school. Alex and Poppy almost cheat with each other, Poppy's boyfriend Gabriel leaves her for a waitress. Poppy believes she may be pregnant during one scene however she isn't.

Gets a bonus because I actually like the books and the concept, but the graphic novel did not live up unfortunately. The art style was good and it was somewhat accurate to the book. I felt there were details that should have been included but weren’t, and I didn’t like that it wasn’t all 1 graphic novel. I would have preferred she waited and there was 1 graphic novel.
Idc that this is just a short story it was so cute I really liked seeing some of my favourite couples interact before their dating. And I missed Liz and Wes, especially Wes’s pining phase

I really enjoyed this book, and the romance was really good, as Lynn painter always does. I felt there was a bit too much going on and not really a centralized plot. I also felt that there wasn’t enough of Charlie, his family and his character development. I really liked how baileys character progressed through the novel.
