genuinely horrific pacing and a complete lack of thought just led to overflowing scenes that covered up the otherwise inventive concepts within. also i cannot deal with stupid characters and some of scarlett’s decisions almost made me dnf.

interesting premise but doesn’t really deliver on plot, characters or relationships. will still probably read the next book bc i hope there will be some development. overall, is mediocre but not punishing to read.
