Too bleak - characters were so far gone in their own misery and bad behavior and poor decisions (lots of trauma) I just couldn’t

This was billed as “unreliable narrator” but maybe since I don’t read a lot of rom coms, it was?   Also this was an open door romcom and that was the main premise of the story - the sex.  
So - it was just ok for me
