The first third was kind of boring, a little repetitive. About 100 pages and stuff started to get brought to light, some questions answered, and then the last hundred pages there was an interesting twist. There wasn't a bad book per se, but I also didn't love it.
The magic and gods of the land is pretty interesting, The love and betrayal between characters is also interesting.
I know there's going to be a sequel from this but I'm just not really interested unfortunately

This was a good wrap up for the duology but also left a door open for a spin-off. The last 100 pages felt faster than the first 400 but all the threads were wrapped which is nice. My heart broke again but then healed... Mostly

Each book gets better! The big event at the end between xaden & Violet is basically what I thought would happen. Not exactly the setting but figured. Andarna is the best ever, still.
I'm ruined waiting for the next book

This was a weird book. I think a lot of it is very metaphorical and makes you really think about what is happening, are you losing your mind, is the character losing their mind, it was bizarre. But a pretty good read, it kept you constantly guessing what was actually happening

Well this was the first.. spicy book I've ever read & an LGBT one. It was comical, witty, serious and reflective, rom-com silliness. It was really fun

The first one broke my heart, this sequel healed it. Although I did cry again but it was wrapped up beautifully

Wtf did I just read? This was like a hot fever dream of drama & cosmic horror. I'm left with way too many questions and a feeling of.... Confusion. I'm just confused.
