Found a lot of the advice in here really helpful. Although I felt that some of the essays included were drawn out way too much. Still worth the read tho. 3/5 ★

"We live in a strange world, where we think we can buy or build our way out of a crisis that has been created by buying and building things."

An important collection of speeches from 2018/2019, however naturally most of the information is repeated throughout which made it hard to get through towards the end. 3/5 ★

Not really sure what rating to give this one. I loved a few of the short stories but there was just a couple that I found kind of dull and unmemorable (e.g. 'The Lookout', 'Rambla Triste' and 'The Cart') which made me lose interest for a while.

'Kids Who Come Back' and 'No Birthdays or Baptisms' were two of my favorites and I would give them both five stars individually but overall i think this collection is a 3/5 ★

Overall I enjoyed the book, but at times it became slightly repetitive / boring, however there are a few great stories scattered throughout which makes it worth reading through the odd weaker one in this collection.

Favourites - TV People, The Second Bakery Attack, Sleep, The Silence

Least Favourites - Barn Burning, The Little Green Monster, The Kangaroo communique.
