When I first did a quick review on August 10th, all I could say was "wow wow wow". This book blew me away!! I am so happy I choose to read it.

Rowan did "idiots-to-lovers" very well. I love me a man that is desperate to get his girl. I loved the magic, the characters, the setting, everything.

ALSO THE MYSTERY!! For a lot of books, I continue reading to find out how the characters end up together, but this book also made me desperate (heh) to figure out the truth!

I loved that I was not able to solve the mystery myself 🥰 I tend to theorize what could happen in a book, and I love when I am wrong! (only in this case 😉).

This series absolutely has knocked my socks off. As soon as we met Steve, I knew I needed his story... buT WHAT I DID NOT EXPECT WAS BILLIE, SHE WAS A SURPRISE. She added so much light and humour to the book. I loved her determination with the bar and just ... everything *happy sigh*. I am so in love with her and this book.

Steve's Barmaid is so wholesome it made my heart melt, and when it gets to the spice... It is so good the rest of me melts. Steve being so inexperienced was also endearing. Billie was more than willing to help him learn. And he is more than willing to try everything with enthusiasm. They are just such sweetie cutie pies while also being so so so so hot 😭.

I am so excited to read more from Jenifer.
