i love this book so much. i finished it in a day and it made me want to get more into graphic novels (this was my first). the art is beautiful and the story is so so heartfelt and sweet and also sad and i love keltie + morgan smmmmm . could not reccoment “the girl from the sea” more.

SLIGHTLY slow start in my opinion. only complaint. i did not expect to fall in love with this book the way i did. all the characters are so nuanced and interesting. there is sapphic romance !!! kyoshi and rangi 4ever

loved loved loved this book and so much about it i just hated the sort of dismissal of all of jane’s trauma. loved found family aspect as well as the new york city setting and ofc the smut :)
