I really enjoyed this book and I’m not super into mysteries. I picked it up because someone at the library had it out on display and I had never heard of it. I’m so glad they put it out there like that because this became one of my favorite books I’ve read this year. It was fun. I think my daughters would enjoy it as well.

Fun but it took a while for it to get going for me. I would suggest setting aside time to read it in a sitting or two because when I kept putting it down to do things like life, it broke up the momentum. I might have liked it more if I read it straight.

This book truly tugged on my heart strings. I cried several times and made sure to write a great review at the school I teach at. I think more kids should read this book. It’s eye opening to a lot of the behaviors for some of their peers. It can show them that what they’re actions are saying on the surface, may not match the emotions that child is truly feeling due to trauma. Loved it!
