~the plot thickens~

i love that this series, though intended for younger kids, really starts to ramp up the lore quickly.

i am way too invested then i probably should be.

i reread good omens to prepare for the new season of the amazon prime show and it's so good.

aziraphale and crowley's relationship immediately drags you in and i love seeing them mess everything up just to try their best to put it back together again.

i'm revisiting favorite books from my childhood and i used to read the HECK outta the rainbow magic series as a kid. i definitely got this book from a scholastic book fair back in the day.

why is jack frost the villain in these books? it's such a weird choice.

either way, this book is such a quick and cute lil read. the illustrations are so simple and so good. highly recommended for some spooky fun.

this was a childhood favorite series and it's about time i revisited it again.

as the first book, it's pretty good. sets up ivy & oliva and their world just enough, but not too much. there's still so much to find out, and it keeps you reading.

not my favorite book in the series, but a good jumping off point.
