I loved the idea of this book, but the writing was really not great most of the time. I did see it was the author’s debut, so I went easy on the rating because of that. I do plan to read more from this author and I’m excited to see how her writing grows!

I actually liked the show better. It was a bit more fun, whereas this was more serious and honestly left me feeling stressed out. I’ve enjoyed this author’s other books more.
