A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess

Did not finish book. Stopped at 19%.
Wasn't enjoying it, not even because of the gore, I didn't mind that all that much.
For a book so acclaimed I wasn't getting much out of it, but I didn't even get to ⅕, that's probably why.
Probably will return to it when I'm in the mood, see if it's worth it for me or not.

Was enjoying it, I think it was the length that discouraged me, was kinda in a slump.
The story up until that point was fine, I mostly enjoyed the writing.
Will most likely return to it, but maybe big books just aren't my thing (I say as my favorite of all time is 667 pages long).

I was genuinely interested in the story, it just didn't move on and the characters were giving me nothing, they all felt the same, I literally had to take notes of who was who because of them being so similar and the constant change in pov. Will maybe return to it, but I don't know. It wasn't a great start with the author and I don't know if I'll buy another book by him (at least until I find something he wrote that I enjoy).
