the thing about me is that i won’t actively try to solve the mystery when i read a book like this, so i was surprised through and through. 
so wholesome and cozy, i’m starting a Joyce fan club!! 
points off for having too many characters, i was struggling with that

This book tried to do a lot but 1) fell flat and/or 2) wayyy too predictable. minus points because i can guess the twist 5 chapters ahead 
Characters were also flat, this was all tell merely show
Will read the other 2 in the series if im really bored

Superb character building and layered family dynamic. One of the bests even.
10/10 for how all of the Josephs were fleshed out.
