woo boy does this show its age. i mean, i didn’t have high expectations for a book written in the late 90s but still, the amount of “let’s throw prozac at it” is boggling. also has a remarkable part where the author admits to not being a psych and then precedes to redefine depression incorrectly. honestly a good chunk was like a filled bingo card of historical medical missteps lol
