A fun, fantastical romp through Europe in the 18th century with everything I could have asked for and more: highwaymen and pirates, a touch of the unexplained, queer people and it’s funny to boot. I greatly enjoyed this and look forward to the novella and the sequel and everything else Mackenzi Lee has ever written.
This is excellent. Really, really wonderful. I absolutely loved it. Hilarious, charming and sweet.
