For nostalgia’s sake I do like this book, and still intend to finish the series.  However, the writing itself is not my favorite.  Though, I found that reminding myself it is a children’s book explains why the writing is the way it is!

As someone who only really reads heavier topics, I would say this was a good entry into lighthearted stories for me!  Especially with it being a quick, one-day read it’s worth picking up.  For my very first OFFICIAL lighthearted book, I can say with confidence it’s a great storyline that is super sweet and endearing in nature.

I love this book!  The storyline is well written, and very detailed.  With that being said, if you are a bit squeamish with any type of body horror, as well as anything about darker, mental health related topics, this may not be the book for you.
