Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

A surprisingly great read. Reminded me a bit of FIOS by John Green but I enjoyed the writing of this one a lot better. Maddy and Olly were a joy to read about. And I love how they both had hardships they had to deal with and overcome throughout the story and that they had each other to confide in. Their relationship was very sweet. I'm very satisfied with how every thing worked out for both of them. Can't wait to see the movie!

So it took me a while to finish reading this book. Only because it's the longest one in the series. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did but it was really great to see where everyone had ended up years later after high school. And I think I enjoyed this installment so much because the characters were all grown up and I guess I could relate to them more now. The only downside to this story was Paul coming back. I wish he hadn't but I will say that his scenes with Suze were really funny. And I think Suze was much more aggressive in giving him a piece of her mind now that she's older than when she was a teenager. Back then even though she hated him she still sometimes gave in to his romantic gestures which really annoyed me. But this time around she was definitely not having it. There was some good revelations in the book also that I didn't see coming. Something having to do with Paul though I won't say what because of spoilers. So that kept things interesting. Really though the stars of this story were without a doubt Jesse and Suze. Their relationship is so much more entertaining as adults. I felt like they interacted more now than they did throughout the whole Mediator series. Though I guess it could be because Jesse isn't dead anymore so he can actually interact with all the people in Suze's life now. Anyway, seeing them together again and getting their happily ever after was definitely my favorite thing about this book. They really were what made this a five star read for me. If it weren't for them I would've given this just a four star (because of Paul tbh). Thankfully though Suze and Jesse pulled through and helped create an entertaining addition and final installment of the Mediator series. I'm happy to say I finally finished it.
Proposal: A Mediator Novella by Meg Cabot

Suze and Jesse are just the sweetest! Loved reading this novella centered around them! It was great to also see them working together on a Mediator case which is something o feel like we didn't get enough of in the previous books. And I find that I think that they're even more entertaining as adults haha must be because I'm one now too. Either way it was a great addition to Suze's story. Looking forward to reading the actual final addition soon.
