I didn't hate this book but I didn't love it, and honestly it had me in a chokehold up until chapter 30. Right around then I started to slowly tune out and get tired of the back and forth between then and now. Getting into the characters I personally liked Kate. The author did a good job, because Kate makes me think of someone I know. I give it a 3.75/5.
