You know, as someone who read this on their own, I was surprised by how well I grasped it all. Not a bad read at all- Hamlet clearly deserves the title of "classic".

This was a very good read! As someone who loved Six of Crows, I was excited to read the sequel. The characterization in this book is amazing and definitely fleshed out the characters from before. The plot felt slightly convoluted, but these are the Crows- I don't know what I was expecting. ;)
My only other piece of criticism is that this book may contain spoilers for the Shadow and Bone series, but I haven't read them yet, so I can't truly confirm. Be warned.

This was a GREAT book! As my Urban Fantasy book, I wasn't sure what to expect, bus this book blew me away. The characters, the concept, the blend of sci-fi and fantasy, it was all just *chef's kiss*.

I wanted to like this book, but instead, I'm firmly neutral towards it. The characters and plot had so much potential, but I feel as though it all just... fell flat. It had very good descriptions, though.

A solid read. I feel like I missed most of the symbolism, but I still enjoyed it.

Kinda boring, lots of text, didn't use the Oxford comma.

I liked this book. I thought that the plotline was good, the characters were engaging and entertaining, and the plot was just twisty enough to keep me reading. All in all, a good read from John.

As an intro to Victorian horror, not bad. It left a bit to be desired, but ultimately not too bad.

I read this for my ninth-grade English class. Not bad per se, but Shakespeare has some much better works.
