I absolutely loved this book and thought it was going to be a 5 star read for me up until about 85% when the 3rd act breakup took place. I hate miscommunication and this felt like such an extreme case 😭. I would have liked this so much more if Emmy had overhead Gabe in the commissioner’s office, and immediately talked to him about it while laying out her fears. What can I say, I’m a sucker for healthy communication lol.

I also felt like because the 3rd act breakup dragged out over several scenes, the ending was a bit rushed.

Don’t get me wrong, I still really enjoyed this book! I’m giving it a solid 4 stars and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Emmy and Gabe’s banter was amazing and I loved watching their relationship take root via epistolary content. I’m also a huge baseball fan, so this setting was such a fun bonus. Really hoping we get another book with Pedro and Beth’s story 😍

Thank you to Avon and NetGalley for the ARC

4.25 ⭐️ I freaking knew it! I didn’t know how or why, but I just knew the person I thought was involved was, in fact, involved.

This was a really fun read. I loved being back in Andy’s world and seeing him living his life a little more freely. Still completely obsessed with his found family, and couldn’t get enough of Lee! My girl Friday was instrumental in solving the case 🔍 There were definitely some heavier parts of this book; seeing Andy confronting the ghosts of his past had me feeling all the emotions. I’m so excited that he and Gene finally seem to be in a space to be able to give their romantic relationship a shot 🥹 No one deserves happiness more than those two!

Seeing as this was the last book in a series I’ve loved so much, I knew I was going to be highly emotional. But the way I cried like 17 times 😂 The tears started on the dedication page and just kept coming. Cam and Dusty (and Rebel Blue), you have my whole entire heart.

WILD AND WRANGLED is Cam and Dusty’s story and I was so ready for it. Cam and Dusty (Custy? Dam?) met in high school and quickly became best friends. Their friendship blossomed into the sweetest romance and I loved how Lyla gave us flashbacks of how that unfolded. But as teenagers, these two struggled with wanting different things out of life and eventually ended their relationship.

15 years later, their paths cross again when Dusty moves back to Meadowlark. Cam is now an established lawyer, amazing mom, and a would-be-bride who has just be jilted at the alter. And while they haven’t really spoken in the past 15 years, it’s Dusty who Cam seeks out when her wedding ends in disaster.

Second chance romance isn’t usually my go-to trope, but I am so hooked on this series and felt so invested in Cam’s happiness. And Lyla knocked it out of the park because oh my god, y’all. These two were absolutely perfect for one another and I couldn’t get enough. Dusty was so steadfast in his feelings and loved Cam so loudly and proudly. That man didn’t waver once throughout the entire book and treated Cam like she hung the moon and stars. Which was fitting because I’m pretty sure she did 🌙💫

Am I tearing up writing this review? 1000%. I loved everything about this book and felt it was the perfect ending to a series that has had such a hold on my heart. I can’t wait to have all 4 books in hand and re-read them together 🩷

Thank you so much to The Dial Press for this ARC

3.75 ⭐️ This is a small-town x Hollywood romance with so many fun twists.

Ramona Riley is a small-town gal who has spent her life putting her family’s needs before her own. Dylan Monroe is a Hollywood wild child whose image needs some serious damage control. When Dylan swoops into town to film her new movie, Ramona is tasked with helping Dylan learn the ropes of small-town living. But Ramona and Dylan have actually met before. You see, these two were each other’s first kisses when they were teenagers 🥹

I had fun with this book and connecting with the characters. Watching Ramona become more confident in her costume designing abilities while branching out of her safety net was so rewarding. And Dylan’s journey toward accepting the past was just as inspiring. I was also particularly obsessed with Ramona’s bestie April, and I hope we see her story in the future 🤞🏼
