I really enjoyed this story. It was emotional but also fun and sweet. I really love the Powell family and the entire chosen family aspect of these stories. This was a really sweet small town romance that includes emotional topics but also lots of puppies aka dogs and that really sealed the deal for me.

I honestly don’t even know how to rate this. The story was way more emotional than I anticipated so I became way more invested in each character. EXCEPT uncle Jake. The hell? Sir, was a whole adult with two kids but he was basically the same age as them emotionally. Long term I bet the HEA actually ends in divorce and Tiernan shares the whole saga on Facebook. So messy, but I liked it.
