The child/adult relationship aspect was tough. At times, I forgot Shori was a child but Butler would always throw in a sentence for two reminding us that this fledgling was doing adult things and it made me cringe. But, overall, I loved the original vampire storyline! I wish Butler was around to give us the rest of the series. But, great book!
