Really enjoyed most of the book. Glokta, Wes, and Dogmans' perspectives were my favorite. However, the main trio left a lot to be desired in this book. Which disappointed me because I was looking forward to their journey the most. I'm still excited to see how the series concludes.

Finally, I got around to reading this. I will say it's not as bad as I was anticipating. It has good bones, and honestly, the story in concept is a lot better than most of the original series. It's just the plot that really brings it down. It feels like a fan fiction written by someone who has only seen the movies.

Great conclusion to the series. Sanderlanche has nothing on the finale of this book and it actually feels earned.

Really fun read. If you're looking for something to turn your brain off for and just go along with the ride. This book is perfect.

Fun story, really enjoying the whole mystery going on behind the scenes.

Pretty interesting, but has some pacing issues. I definitely think watching anime first fills in those gaps.

Fantastic book and phenomenal audio book. Finished the whole thing in under 2 days. I'm ride or die for Rocky.

Best book I've read this year. Weaver was able to blend the elements of a mystery and thriller together effortlessly. I loved the sci-fi backdrop with the overarching story that really hit a little to close to home. Also this book is filled with banger quotes that I'll be thinking about and quoting for years to come.

I really enjoyed The Final Empire, but my god was this book a huge step down from that. The whole middle portion of the book just feels like filler that goes absolutely nowhere. Also the introduction of a second love interest where by the end of the book the character doesn't even matter. Glad we spent 75% of the book dealing with him. I honestly feel like you could read the first 100 pages and last 100 pages and miss absolutely nothing.
