i liked this book more than i originally thought i would, getting into it was a little slow for me and i think there was a tiny bit more of the "flashback" origin story than i would have preferred i think i would have rather had more of a conclusion and view at their hea compared to the starting. that being said the ending of this book is what made me fall in love with it and their relationship, seeing how they were overcoming different obstacles and how they navigated things together as well as getting to see the relationship between river and alex.

this book WRECKED me i stg i somehow managed to read about 75% then put it down for a few weeks not realizing i stopped right before things started happening. i at one point was full on sobbing like i had to put down the book i couldn't see what i was reading but getting to see feyre develop and get closer with rhys was really good. i'm just going to continue wishing this series had more spice hehe

this book has my whole heart omg <3 i went into this not loving nesta but also not hating her like a lot of people do i feel. getting nesta's perspective about everything was so eye opening and i found myself relating to her and her emotions with things, the feeling of being that hard on yourself, and like you're a failure to others hit a little too close to home.

this was definitely my favorite book from the series - i think story and plot wise but also the character development between nesta and cassian too. this might be one of my favorite book i've read and i can't wait for the series to continue.

i loved this book even more than the first getting to see their relationship continue to grow and strengthen seeing the guys care about cora and urge her to seek help while supporting her through everything. i really liked the mix of plot points and really good spice, and getting to experience how jay and maro's relationship originally developed and grew was so special and i loved that added part rather than only focusing on the present day.

i did love this book - getting to read about the spice but also getting the emotional side of things and understanding they aren't a perfect couple or people. plus getting to experience the beginning of their relationship was so sweet.

this book filled the smut need through the acotar series which was nice but i think the book could have been a little longer and more developed but the plot twist did add in some interest and plot points i wasn't expecting

this novella was definitely what i needed after the turmoil that was the last book lol

plot wise i don't think this added a ton but having more time with the characters and seeing them post war and how they are handling that recovery and healing. i'm very excited to keep learning more about nesta and how she is feeling more though.
