I feel like this was a slower section.

*4.5. I am so impressed with this book!! The concept was amazing to start with and then the book delivers so many terrific twists and turns, most of which I didn’t see coming. There are so many layers to this book, it’s wild. While it’s definitely pretty trippy and hard to keep track of everything at times, it’s still worth the read! Can I see a film version please?

I am obsessed with Lisa Jewell’s writing style for sure! It’s so addictive and easy to get through. However, I do wish the thriller and mystery aspects were enhanced a little more. Could have used more twists and turns. But still loved reading this!

Once again, love Ruth Ware’s writing! It was a quick read for me. However, I guessed the twist ending immediately. It was my very first guess.

A stunningly beautiful book about family—sibling relationships and parent-child relationships. The book was slow and drawn out at points but overall a great, emotional read. It definitely made me teary eyed.

A cute final book in this series. Waylon was a relatable character that I enjoyed reading about and I liked seeing the whole gang too. It did read a bit young for me though and I found some pop culture references outdated. Was slow at times at well but had a great message.

While I do think there were some improvements from Christine’s first book, I still think there could have been more. I like that the main characters were pretty unique and the love stories were cute. This book was a fun, easy read but I did find some things to be cringey and I wish could have been different. The parents were truly awful and it was hard to look past. I also didn’t love how the “magic” part of the book was done.

3.5 stars. This book had a bit of a rocky start for me due to the writing style, and how hard they shoved the message in your face. But it ended up being a cute, fun read and I did enjoy the bachelorette aspects that drew me to the book.

Great book, made me super emotional at points. I really adored all of the characters and the hint of mystery throughout. The romance was a little insta-love for me and the book felt a little long but still enjoyed it a lot! Kind of wish it ended differently but that’s just me liking bittersweet endings.

3.5 stars. I am slightly let down by this book, probably because it is so hyped. I really did appreciate the writing, characters and messages/themes throughout. I guess I was just expecting more in terms of the twists and the emotions. Will try to check out the series as well.
