Wow. So sad to see my favourite series ending!

This was a beautiful book, although not as great as the first one in my opinion. But I prefer the part in a love story before the couple gets together when there is build up and tension. A lot of this book was a little too happy and cheesy for me.

Loved it! Such a solid read. Was super engaging with so many interesting main characters and plots going on. There were lots of surprises and twists! A great concept.

Loved this! Big fan of the characters, especially Cinder and Kai. Really ship them. Also liked the retelling elements, mostly the fact that it still strays from the Cinderella story enough to keep it entertaining. The story/plot were really interesting and I look forward to continuing the series!

This book definitely had to grow on me but it did grow! At first I was overwhelmed trying to understand the world and a lot of new terminology but it gets easier as you go. Very reminiscent of many other ya dystopians like Hunger Games and clearly inspired but still became super fun and action packed! I do look forward to the other books but am scared I just liked this for the many ya tropes included.

Cute but could have been better. Found the first half rougher to get through but enjoyed the second half much more! Found some moments cringey but also some moments relatable. I wish the bromance book club wasn’t already established at the beginning of the book and the story was more about the guys deciding to start it.

Wow what a fricken amazing book. As always Jewell crafts such an intriguing mystery with fascinating characters. Some you love, some you hate. This book is a thriller yet it made me cry. Read it!!

I finally finished it! This book is just way too long. Too much description, too many character povs. Some characters in this series are strong (Dorian, Manon, even Chaol and Yrene) but some are just so boring and pointless to hear from (Aedion, who I really despise, for example). I did get brought to tears at one point I think just from having read so many books in this series and being invested but I feel like this pay off wasn’t great. Low key, more people should have died, I feel like it ended too happy and convenient. Anyways, so glad to be done this series.

Such a beautiful, funny, heartwarming story! You grow to love the characters and relationships so much. I love the messages that were explored. Wow!
