It really annoyed me how the german main character had such an english name of Charlotte Elizabeth while everyone else had typical german names. Just a bone to pick amongst others.
I feel I would have enjoyed this more had I not read it as an audiobook. I enjoyed the way Wilde slowly changes your perception over time, the intelligent half of my brain was very satisfied.
